Paula C. Maurer, 56, of Annville was driving her 2023 Subaru RX south on North Deodate Road and pulled forward at a green light at the intersection with East Harrisburg Pike/Route 230, according to the PA State police release.
She struck the Middletown Volunteer Fire Company truck that had lights and sirens on when it entered the intersection in Londonderry Township around 7 a.m. on Sept. 28, the release details.
The firefights hopped out of the truck and "immediately provided aid to the driver," who was then taken by South Central EMS to a Penn State Hershey Medical Center with minor injuries.
No firefighters were injured, according to a previous release by the fire company.
Maurer’s car was towed from the scene by H&S Towing.
She has been cited with "duty of driver on approach of emergency vehicles," troopers stated in the release.
